Troubleshooting
# The button "Store" is not available in my Excel client
If the button Store is not available in your Insert ribbon, check the settings in File -> Options -> Trust Center -> Trust Center Settings:
If this does not help ask your Office 365 Administrator to check the settings for the Office Store:
# The data1.io button "Show Taskpane" was in the ribbon, but after changing the Office language it disappeared, what happened?
Excel Web Add-Ins are added to the user account "language specific". That means, if you add the data1.io Web Add-In from the store to your client with active language "german", then it`s added from the german store. If you change the language of Excel on your client, the button from he "german" Add-In is not visible any more and you have to add he Add-In again from the store ... :(
That means that a Web Add-In has to be installed in every language version that is used on an Excel Client separately.
We think there are some bugs in Excel concerning this language specific installation of Web Add-Ins: if you install the data1.io Add-In in one language (eg. German) and then switch the active language (e.g. to English), then the "Show Taskbar" button in the ribbon is not available any more - what probably is a feature - but it is still shown in the "My Add-Ins" section - what is in our mind a bug:
In order to use the data1.io Web Add-In also under the current English language mode, it has to be installed once again from the "English Store". In the "My Add-Ins" section nothing changes (since the Add-In was already shown before), but now the "Show Taskpane" button is available in the ribbon and the Add-In can be used also in English language mode.
# The Add-In was added on one (new) device to my user account but it does not appear on my second (older) device using the same user account
It seems that if you have added and removed a Web Add-In on an (older) device, it will be shown in the "My Add-Ins" section after it was added on another (new) device but it`s not automatically re-activaed (i.e. the buttons in the ribbons are not available). In this case the user has to press the "Add" button in the "My Add-Ins" section to re-activate the Add-In ...
# What happens if there is no internet connection
An inactive internet connection does not remove the button, the Add-In will be even started when pressing it (from cache), but after trying to login you`ll get an error message.
